The IPMAT Rohtak exam 2026 will comprise a total of 120 MCQs, covering the Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability sections. Students will be awarded 4 marks for every correct answer, but they will lose 1 mark for every wrong answer. The total duration is 120 minutes. The IPM Rohtak exam will be conducted in a computer-based test

The IPMAT entrance exam is a national-level test conducted by IIM Rohtak for its 5-year integrated program in management aptitude test. The IPMAT exam includes questions pertaining to logical reasoning, verbal aptitude and quantitative ability. The exam has multiple-choice questions that have 5 options and equal weightage. 

Candidates should prepare from the NCERT books and newspapers and practise the mock test and the previous years' papers. Understanding the exam pattern in detail helps candidates plan preparation effectively and manage time during the test.

IPMAT Rohtak Exam Pattern 2026

The IIM Rohtak IPMAT exam pattern includes 120 multiple-choice questions in 120 minutes, divided evenly into three sections: Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability. Each category consists of 40 questions, which need to be solved within 40 minutes. No deduction or reward is given for not answering the question, but the score for every correct answer is +4 and for incorrect answers, it is -1. Unattempted questions have no negative marking.

IPM Aptitude Test of IIM Rohtak 2026

  • The IPM Aptitude Test at the Indian Institute of Management Rohtak tests the candidate's proficiency in mathematics, logic and English language comprehension.

  • The test contains a total of 120 questions and the scoring system awards four marks per correct answer and deducts 1 mark per incorrect answer. No deductions are made for unanswered questions.

  • In contrast to the IPM Aptitude Test conducted at the Indian Institute of Management Indore, there are no time restrictions per section in this test and candidates can switch sections anytime during the 2-hour examination period.

  • Successful candidates whose scores exceed the required cutoff are called for an interview round where the candidates’ educational qualifications, general knowledge and communication abilities are assessed.

IPMAT Rohtak Marking Scheme 2026

According to the IPMAT Rohtak examination scoring pattern, candidates will be awarded four marks for each right answer, whereas one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. However, no marks will be awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.

IPMAT Rohtak 2026 Exam Final Selection Procedure

The selection process for the IPM course at the Indian Institute of Management Rohtak takes place through several rounds-

Online Application- Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria must register for the application form and submit the application fees of ₹4937, which is non-refundable.

IPM Aptitude Examination- All applicants are supposed to take part in the entrance examination to measure their quantitative ability, logical reasoning and language proficiency in English.

Personal Interview (PI)- Candidates securing the cut-off score will be selected for an interview round in an online mode. Here, academic results, communication skills and general knowledge are tested.

NCERT books provide the foundational knowledge of the IPMAT Rohtak syllabus 2026. Candidates should read the newspaper to improve their verbal ability. For speed and to become acquainted with the format of the test, they should solve the previous year's question papers and practice exams.

After three years, a candidate may withdraw from the integrated management program. They will get only an undergraduate degree in the BBA course.

The IPMAT Rohtak 2026 exam is worth 480 marks and takes two hours (120 minutes) to complete.
