FAQs

The IPMAT administered by IIM Indore, is the most widely used exam for admission to five-year integrated programmes. JIPMAT, which is administered by the NTA and whose scores are accepted by IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya, is another important exam.

Yes, included in IPMAT Rohtak but only for those seeking admission in an integrated course in law.

Both are important, but the aptitude test is more important than the personal interview because it is weighted at 55%. Those who perform well in the written examination have a better chance of receiving the final selection call.

The IPMAT Indore exam has three sections, two of which are quantitative and one of which is verbal, whereas the IIM exam has three sections, quantitative ability, logical reasoning, and verbal ability, similar to the CAT exam.

IPM AT Indore does not give any weightage to past performance, whereas IIM Rohtak gives 30% weightage in the final round to 10th and 12th grade marks. Another significant difference is that IIM Rohtak gives 55% weightage to the aptitude test and 15% to the PI, whereas IIM Indore gives 65% to the aptitude test and 35% to the personal interview.
