The first session was facilitated by Prof Nitin Upadhyay who is the Dean of Academics. The Executive Education and Consultancy Chairperson Professor Sanjeev Pathak was also in attendance as were the program directors Professor P P Maheshwari, Dr. Manu Bansal and Dr. Malaya Ranjan Mohapatra.

Along with other SAIL executives, Dr. Atanu Mukherjee the General Manager Academic, Central HRD and Senior Faculty, Management Training Institute participated in the session virtually. Dr Manu Bansal gave a vote of gratitude to close the session. The whole event is being managed by the Executive Education and Consultancy team of IIM Jammu.

Nurturing Future Leadership Program Inaugurates its 16th Batch

The 16th class of the Nurturing Future Leadership Program was launched at IIM Jammu as part of the Ministry of Education's Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Initiative of the Government of India.

The inaugural event was led by Prof Nitin Upadhyay. Program Directors Dr Shivani Sachdev and Dr V Raj Kumar were also present

Prof. Sanjeev Pathak said that the program encourages two-way learning and enables the participants to think about their own role as academics. He added that IIM Jammu is running as many batches as possible for this specific endeavour. He encouraged the participants to treat this program as the start of a long-term academic association.

Dr V Raj Kumar said that the program focuses on building leadership qualities, critical thinking and academic development. Dr Shivani Sachdev gave a vote of appreciation to close up the program.
