MBA Program at VGSoM IIT Kharagpur

VGSoM provides a two year full time MBA experience. The selection process involves an entrance exam which consists of CAT 2025 scores along with an online Personal Interview (PI). The selection will be made on the basis of a combined merit score comprising the CAT percentile rank, educational background and performance in the PI process.

Who Qualifies to Apply?

One must hold a four year bachelor's degree in the fields of Engineering, Technology or Pharmacy or a Master's degree in the streams of Science, Economics or Commerce. Additional requirements are that one must have Mathematics or Statistics at the undergraduate level. Minimum marks required are -

• 60% or CGPA 6.5 out of 10 for General, EWS and OBC candidates

• 55% or CGPA 6 out of 10 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates

Students of the final year can also apply but the proof of completing the degree has to be submitted within the timeline provided.

Admission Procedure for VGSoM IIT Kharagpur MBA

The selection procedure of VGSoM IIT Kharagpur is of two stages. Shortlisting of candidates for the WAT-PI round based on CAT performance and academic background. Final admission offer is made based on a cumulative score comprising application rating, CAT score and WAT-PI performance.

As per the official notification admission to the MBA 2026 batch at VGSoM is a two step process. First a candidate is shortlisted and then the final offer is made based on overall performance.
