IIM Udaipur EMBA Admission 2026 Begins After CAP Exit; Check Process & Dates

Indian Institute of Management Udaipur has begun the admission process for its Executive MBA 2026 batch after it officially stepped out of the Common Admission Process also known as CAP. The institute has now implemented its own admission criteria for the two-year online course catering to working professionals.

IIM Udaipur EMBA Admission 2026 Begins After CAP Exit; Check Process & Dates

Key Eligibility

Candidates for the EMBA program must have valid 2025 CAT, GMAT or GRE scores. The IIMU entrance exam is open to those without such scores.

Important Dates

The admission process will take place in three cycles - 

  • Cycle 1 is Ongoing and its last date is 8 December 2025

  • Cycle 2 will be start from 9 December 2025 go till 2 March 2026

  • Cycle 3 will be between 3 March and 20 April 2026

The deadline for granting admission is 6 May 2026 and after that no further admissions will be granted.

Application Fee

Candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of ₹1000 for the application and an additional ₹1000 for the IIMU test.

Admission Criteria for EMBA at IIMU

Selections will be based on -

  • Academic record

  • Work experience with minimum 3 years after graduation

  • Scores in CAT/GMAT/GRE/IIMU Test

  • Personal interview performance

To be eligible candidates must have - 

  • Passed class 10 and 12th and a bachelor degree with 50 percent marks and 45 percent for SC,ST and PwD.

  • Fulltime work experience of at least thirty six months as on 20 May 2026.

IIMU Entrance Test Pattern

The candidates without valid CAT, GMAT or GRE scores will have to take the IIMU test which will be administered online on weekends.

  • Duration - 120 minutes

  • Total Questions - 120 questions that will be Multiple Choice

  • Sections - Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning

The shift is a big leap for IIM Udaipur as it takes a more personalised and adaptive approach to choose candidates who are appropriate for its EMBA program.
