The Institute is starting its Innovation Bootcamp outreach series today at Government Degree College Akhnoor with the assistance of the office of the Nodal Principal, Department of Higher Education, Government of Jammu and Kashmir. This program, led by DST iTBI IIM Jammu (the business incubator) is the beginning of a mass-level, systematic initiative to motivate students offer them information regarding entrepreneurial avenues and provide them with incubation assistance.

The Innovation Bootcamps have been designed as enablers of creating a robust innovation culture within the region. IIM Jammu bootcamps target young minds to learn about innovative entrepreneurship, expose them to stories of success among innovators, and assist them in identifying scalable ideas. The initiative also brings to the fore IIM Jammu as a hub in the U.T. Government YUVA funding initiative, besides offering details regarding DST Innovation Grant and incubation at DST iTBI IIM Jammu.
