IIM Indore

Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) established in 1996 is India's leading management institute renowned not only for quality education but also for innovation, sustainability and social responsibility. IIM Indore with MDI Gurgaon cutoff comparison is given below for the candidate’s understanding: 

• Only CAT scores are considered for admission to PGP programs in IIM Indore. The cut-off percentile may be around the 96th–97th percentiles for general candidates. Shortlisting also lies on the basis of academics, gender diversity and work experience.

• MDI Gurgaon only accepts CAT scores for its top PGDM programs. The cut-off is usually around the 94th–95th percentile, making it relatively easier to get.

Aarushi Jain has her PhD in Information Systems from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore. She possesses 2 years of industry experience in Financial Services (Fiserv). After PhD she has been working at IIM Amritsar as an Assistant Professor. She has published in renowned international and national journals and conferences.  Her area of research interest includes online reviews in e-commerce websites, human-robot interaction and blockchain. She was also appointed the Youth Ambassador to China in 2019 by the GOI. 

2. Abinash Panda - Professor of Organisational Behaviour & Human Resource Management

Prof. Abinash Panda has deep industry and academic experience having worked at IIM Kashipur, Adani Group, Suzlon and Tata Management Training Centre. He has also taught at XLRI and IIM Indore, co-led important research projects and authored more than 45 papers. As an MDI Gurgaon fellow he also holds a degree from the International University of Japan and NIT Rourkela.

3. Alok Misra - Professor of Economic & Public Policy

Dr. Alok Misra is a Professor at MDI Gurgaon with more than 24 years of experience in development policy, inclusive and rural finance. He has a PhD from Victoria University of Wellington and is a gold medallist in Development Management. He has served with NABARD, M-CRIL and international agencies such as ADB and the World Bank in a number of countries. His areas of interest are digital finance, impact investing and social entrepreneurship.

4. Amit Kumar Gupta - Associate Professor of Operations Management

He is an Associate Professor at MDI Gurgaon with a PhD and M.Tech from IIT Kanpur and a B.Tech from NIT Kurukshetra. He has experience working with NICMAR Pune and Nuclear Power Corporation of India. He is interested in operations research, supply chain and logistics and has published in refereed journals and has organised training programs for organisations such as L&T, SPCL, AFCONS and BEL.

1. Debasish Maitra - Faculty of Finance & Accounting

Debasish Maitra is a member of the faculty in Accounting and Finance and an IRMA Fellow with doctoral specialisation in volatility in Indian commodity markets. He has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswa Vidyalaya. Prior to IIM Indore he was associated with IMT Ghaziabad and Union Bank of India. His research areas are bank performance, market risk, commodity markets and macroeconomic effects whereas his teaching areas are banking, corporate finance, portfolio management and derivatives.

2. Sabita Mahapatra - Faculty of Marketing

Dr. Sabita Mahapatra is an assistant professor of marketing. She has research papers in a variety of refereed journals and has presented several papers at international and national conferences.  She has received UGC scholarships along with state and national-level awards.  She is a member of various professional and institutional associations.

3. Jatin Pandey - Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour & Human Resource Management (HRM)

Dr. Jatin Pandey is an Associate Professor Organisational Behaviour and HRM with IIM Indore and IIM Ahmedabad Fellow. Dr. Pandey has also taught at IIM Kozhikode and has been awarded several honours such as the Best Thesis Award, Junior Research Fellowship, and the Best Teacher Award from IIM Indore. His articles are highly published and cited, and he has co-authored a number of books on GIS, HR analytics, and people analytics. 4. Dr. Aekta Aggarwal - Associate Professor of Operations Management and Quantitative Techniques

Dr. Aekta Aggarwal is an Associate Professor of Operations Management and Quantitative Techniques at IIM Indore. Her B.A. in mathematics is from Lady Shri Ram College, and she holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in applied mathematics from TIFR. Her work is on mathematical modelling in traffic flow, crowd motion, and supply chains.
