The 2025 IBSAT requires a bachelor's degree with fifty percent marks among other educational details. It accepts the final year students too. All campuses of ICFAI accept the scores of IBSAT along with CAT, XAT, NMAT and GMAT.

The rules for the IBSAT 2025 eligibility are set by ICFAI University Hyderabad and the exam is conducted every year for MBA admissions across the 9 ICFAI Business Schools. In IBSAT eligibility a candidate must have a graduating degree in any stream with at least 50 percent of possible points.

All ICFAI colleges including IBS Hyderabad, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Bengaluru, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Dehradun and Jaipur require students to take the IBSAT which is an online national exam. All these campuses will consider the IBSAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria to define whether or not a candidate can sit for the test.

The dates of the 2025 IBSAT exam are 27 and 28 December. The first week of July is when applications begin. You can apply online or purchase an offline IBSAT Voucher from any IBS marketing office. IBSAT 2025 Eligibility in Detail

1. Minimum Academic Qualification

  • Graduation in any discipline with at least 50 percent marks from any recognised college. This is a minimum eligibility criteria for IBSAT 2025.

  • Students in their last year may apply as long as they fulfil all graduation criteria before May 31. Supporting documentation for graduation must be presented no later than 1 Nov.

2. Required Years of Study

  • To meet the eligibility criteria of 2025 IBSAT you must have completed at least 15 years of education as per AICTE rules. Anyone with less than 15 years of schooling is not eligible. Degrees completed in one sitting or in short two year formats do not qualify.

  • For the PhD program you must have - 

    • Two year full time postgraduate degree in Management or

    • CA or ICWA qualification with 60 percent marks.

3. Medium of Education

  • Your entire education should be in English medium or you must submit TOEFL or NELT or IELTS scores. This is a key part of the IBSAT exam criteria.

  • Those who did not study in English must submit the required score by 31 May.

Campus-wise IBSAT Eligibility for Admission 2025

  • The basic IBSAT exam eligibility remains the same for all campuses but admission cutoffs and accepted test scores can vary. IBSAT results from 2025 are accepted for admission to any ICFAI Business Schools.

  • They also accept exam scores such as CAT, XAT, NMAT and GMAT and apply to -

    • Two year MBA programs are offered at IBS Hyderabad, IBS Dehradun, IBS Jaipur and IBS Bengaluru.

    • Two year PGPM programs at IBS Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune

Qualified candidates will be invited to a selection process in 2025 April at seven IBS campuses such as Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Dehradun, Jaipur, Kolkata and Pune. Also part of the IBSAT exam eligibility criteria is the selection round that includes Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
