The CMAT 2026 exam is scheduled to take place on 25 January and students are required to adhere to the dress code and guidelines of the CMAT exam center so as not to create difficulties while entering the examination center and during the exam.

On the date of 25 Jan 2026 the CMAT exam will take place in 124 Indian cities. The above mentioned exam will take place in a computer-based manner in the previously selected testing centers. Candidates must follow all the instructions mentioned on their CMAT admit card to avoid any problems during the exam.

CMAT Exam Dress Code

Choose what applicants want to wear for the CMAT exam. The clothing should make applicants comfortable throughout the day of the CMAT exam. The clothing should enable applicants to sit for a period of two hours to attempt the exam. But make sure that applicants' clothing does not violate the rules of the CMAT exam. Applicants should not wear the following items.

• DO NOT wear oversized Jackets or heavy Jewelry or Shoes with thick soles.

• Do Not Wear Garments with Large Buttons

CMAT 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

• Bring a printed copy of your CMAT 2026 admit card.

• Bring a valid government photo ID.

• Dress in simple and comfortable clothes (no metallic accessories, thick soled shoes or heavy jackets).

• Arrive at the exam center well in advance of your reporting time.

• Find your exam center and seat number.

• Carry only the following allowed things: Admit Card, Photo ID Card that includes School Identity Card/PAN Card/Passport/Aadhar Card with photo/E-Aadhaar photograph/ Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph/ Bank Passbook with photograph. v. PwD/ PwBD certificate produced from the authorised medical officer, if claiming relaxation under the PwD/PwBD 

• Mobile phones, gadgets, watches, calculators, stationery, wallets, purses or bags

•  Books.

• Avoid doing mehndi/henna on the hands as the biometrics may be affected.

• All the instructions provided for the CMAT exam in the centre must be strictly followed.
