BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) is a three year undergraduate course. It requires class 12 with a minimum of 50% in any stream. There are several ways to accomplish it: online, distance, part-time and full-time. Various state level and institute-specific exams are conducted for admission into the BBA program. Institute-specific BBA Entrance Exams
Symbiosis SET: Symbiosis International (Deemed University) organised the SET. It is an institute-specific entrance exam for applicants to study in an undergraduate program. The examination has four segments: English, Quantitative (Math) Ability, General Awareness and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.
It lasts for sixty minutes and is divided into sections that cover language proficiency, mathematical aptitude, general knowledge, and logical reasoning. The purpose of this test is to provide Symbiosis University with a standardised undergraduate admissions platform.
NMIMS NPAT: It is an entrance exam used to get into programs like BBA and BBM. The college has multiple campuses in India. Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai, Shirpur and Indore provide UG admission using NPAT scores. The exam will be conducted online.
In the NPAT exam, multiple-choice questions are asked. The test consists of three parts: quantitative and numerical ability, reasoning and general intelligence and English language ability.
Delhi University DUET: For admission into doctorate, postgraduate and undergraduate program the NTA conducts the state level DUET exam for candidates want admission to Delhi University. The common sections include Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, General English and General Knowledge. The exam is 120 minutes long.
Christ University Entrance Test (CUET): Christ University's BBA admission exam, known as the CUET is a computer-based MCQ exam with 120 questions to complete in 90 minutes. While incorrect answers are worth 0.25 marks, correct answers are worth 1 mark. The test uses a randomised section order to measure both speed and accuracy.
For undergraduate candidates, the examination is divided into four sections such as general awareness, English ability, logical and quantitative ability. The number of sections and duration may vary under course changes.
BBA Admission Process
BBA colleges frame their requirements for admission into the BBA program. Candidates can see these requirements and then they can apply online or offline for admission to their desired B-school. Based on their selection criteria, various institutes select candidates for their interview rounds.
Eligibility Requirements: Admission to a BBA program is open to students who have completed class 12 with at least 50% of the possible points. Admission into the BBA program can also be done by a candidate who is awaiting his/her class 12 results.
Fill in the application: Move to the college or university's webpage. Fill out the online application and pay the fee.
Take the screening or entrance exam: Applicants need to take the entrance exam if the college is offering one. Further, some universities select students on the basis of Class 12 board marks (no test).
Interview or Group Discussion (if required): A few colleges check applicants critical thinking and communication skills through a personal interview (PI) or group discussion (GD) after the exam.
