XLRI Launches the Indo-French Danish Academic Collaboration, Emphasising Executive Education and Academic Programs

UNESCO Chair at the University of Paris Nanterre, the Danish Consortium for Academic Craftsmanship, the International Institute of Education Consortium of Universities, the University of Bordeaux, the University of Paris-1 Pantheon Sorbonne and the University of Paris have all worked with XLRI. The international cooperation will be focused on academic programs, executive education and research.

XLRI's association with these universities attempts to offer education that is relevant to the global scenario and industry-oriented at an affordable price to Indian professionals and students. It aims to offer innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of industry, organisations and society and to enhance academic partnerships across continents.

Fr Nelson A D'Silva, Acting Director of the Delhi-NCR Campus of XLRI underlined the requirement of collaboration with leading global schools, especially the Sorbonne, where the founders of the Society of Jesus had attended. Dr Eric Lamarque, Dean of Paris Sorbonne Business School said that the partnership will strengthen Indo-French educational relations and provide a model for further global partnerships. Bordeaux leaders, DCAC the IIE Consortium and other partner institutions expressed similar enthusiasm, citing the long-term objective and cooperative effort of the last two years.

The alliance offers Indian students and working professionals a one-of-a-kind opportunity for availing world-class education and hands on expertise.The programs, collaboratively designed by professionals from XLRI, Sorbonne, Bordeaux and DCAC marry core management principles with industry-specific applications for fields like healthcare, digital business and consultancy.

During the 2025-26 academic year, several special programmes will be launched as full-time, part-time and executive education programs, respectively. These programs will cater to industry needs in the areas of healthcare management, family business, digital firms and consulting. The partnership will expand further through additional programmes, research initiatives and global exchange opportunities.

Experiential workshops and combined learning modules will enable students to enhance entrepreneurial thinking, problem-solving capability and leadership. The graduates will receive degrees from the Sorbonne and Bordeaux, which are accepted in the EU, OECD and Commonwealth nations, making them more mobile and employable globally. These certificates are consistent with academic standards for skilled worker visa schemes in countries like the EU, UK and Canada which creates new career opportunities.
