There are four main sections in the syllabus for the GBO entrance test of SRCC. These are English Comprehension and Language Ability, Quantitative Ability, Logical Ability and Data Interpretation. These sections check language skills, maths basics and reasoning ability.
SRCC GBO will include basic mathematics topics like Percentage, Profit and Loss, Time and work, Time speed and distance, Number system, Simple and compound interest, Algebra, Series, basic arithmetic and questions based on pie charts and bar graphs.
This section of SRCC GBO deals with the understanding and usage of the English language. The questions are in the form of reading comprehension passages, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms, idioms and phrases. Grammar topics like nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs, sentence correction, para jumbles, one word substitution, fill in the blanks and speech rules.
Logical ability section of SRCC GBO encompasses questions based on reasoning and reasoning ability questions. The most prominent topics on this section include puzzles, family tree, Data arrangement, coding & series, syllogisms, statements & conclusions, assumptions, numerical grid, Venn diagrams and strong and weak argument
The various types of Data Interpretation questions are based on graphs and tables in SRCC GBO exam. These are bar graphs, pie charts, line graphs, tables, caselets, data sufficiency problems, data structures and some problems relating to clocks, calendars and Venn diagrams.
There is no General Knowledge or Business Awareness section in the SRCC GBO exam so the answer is no. The list of subjects is restricted to English, maths, logical reasoning and data interpretation.
Multiple-choice questions make up the SRCC GBO exam. The exam does not require a written section or a descriptive answer section.
