Another highlight of the CRC 2026 was IIM Nagpur’s increased emphasis on developing India-centric cases with global applicability. The conference started on February 6, with the pre-conference workshop on Case Writing & Teaching, in which faculty members, research scholars and students from the top academies in India and the world participated.

The eminent experts from AIM Manila, IIM Ahmedabad, ISB Hyderabad and Ivey Publishing conducted structured sessions on case writing, classroom use and teaching innovation. The workshop attracted 107 participants through both online and offline modes, comprising 50 participants from 10 partner institutes and 57 participants from other institutes.

The main conference was conducted on the 7th and 8th of February and featured expert talks, case writing and teaching sessions, case presentations and research paper sessions. It was a good platform to foster academic discussion and collaboration. The conference had 917 submissions. Additionally, it recorded 663 registered participants, out of which 142 were from the partner institutions. Overall, the events recorded 805 registrations.

The participants came from the best institutions across India and the world. They included 63 participants from different Indian Institutes of Management and representatives from 12 Indian Institutes of Technology. There were also 36 international participants from the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, SAARC countries and other parts of the world.

CRC 2026 was arranged through the Case Study Centre at IIM Nagpur, instituted in association with Ivey Publishing. IIM Nagpur is the third IIM in the country and the first of the newer IIMs to create a dedicated Case Study Centre. The emphasis of the Centre is on building high-quality case studies based in India but of global academic standards.

The continued success of the second edition of CRC reflected the clear increases seen in the submissions, participation, and participation rates and the global presence. It also helped IIM Nagpur increasingly carve out its reputation as a hub of case research, teaching practices and academic collaborations in India.
