IIM Kozhikode Doubles Female Enrolment in Executive MBA Program
The development was emphasised by IIM Kozhikode Director, Professor Debashis Chatterjee at a 'Mindful Leadership' seminar in Bengaluru. A host of leading industry professionals attended the event that emphasised self-awareness and clarity in leadership.
The program has also witnessed an increase in diversity based on educational background. Approximately 25% of students are now from non-engineering backgrounds a sign that management education is drawing talent from across many different industries and not only technology.
Professor Chatterjee also mentioned that more than 5,000 professionals have been benefitted through the EPGP since its inception. The initiative is aimed at equipping working professionals with enhanced decision-making capabilities and leadership skills. Students receive rich exposure and career development opportunities through forums such as IIMK LIVE and cross-industry partnerships.
The EPGP is highly sought after by professionals working in industries like IT, aerospace, manufacturing, energy, public sector, education, banking and consulting. Approximately 30% of the students in the program have 6 to 9 years of professional experience indicating that many mid-career professionals are taking the program to transition into senior leadership positions.
Applications are invited for 18th batch.
