The IIM Jammu Publication and Media team hosted a group of 58 talented and dedicated students plus three faculty members. The tour initiated with a campus tour which acclimated students to the institute's good facilities from the smart classrooms and knowledge dense Nalanda Library to the Vedanta MDP Block and the open-air Rangmanch Amphitheatre, used as a space for discourse and expression. A gripping audiovisual on IIM Jammu brings to life the inspiring story of the institute, giving its students a glimpse into its tremendous growth and successes. IIM Jammu's Director, Prof. B.S. Sahay stressed that exposing students at an early stage to top notch higher education institutions like IIMs and IITs is important for widening the horizon of young minds.

He explained that such visits not only enhance the interest and aspiration of students but also enable them to see their paths to their achievement. He called upon the students to lay a solid academic base acquire critical thinking skills and remain committed to ongoing learning so that they can tackle challenges of their future academic and professional lives boldly. A lively interactive session was next where students were informed about the academic courses admissions process and special learning environment of IIM Jammu. The discussion also mirrored the institute's mission for bringing up socially accountable leaders as per the National Education Policy 2020. The visit ended with an interactive Q&A with students posing thoughtful questions and showing enthusiasm about sampling IIM Jammu's dynamic learning culture.
