From January 2, 2026 the Great Lakes Institute of Management will stop registering candidates for its one-year Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) and two-year PG Diploma in Management (PGDM). Applicants can apply to the one-year and two-year MBA courses through its official website.

The one year PGPM program is intended for working professionals with a minimum of two years of work experience, while the PGDM in Management can be availed by graduates having a maximum of three years of work experience.

The candidates applying for an MBA from the Great Lakes Institute of Management need to hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% at the 10th, 12th and graduation level.

Eligibility criteria also include a compulsory requirement for the Graduate Management Admission Test, CAT, XAT or NMAT score. The institute will consider the highest score for admission.

PGPM and PGDM Programmes: Details:

One year PGPM courses are available in the Chennai campus and the Gurugram campus. The courses have been designed with the help of industry leaders and CXOs. The courses include the basics such as marketing, finance and operations apart from product management, consulting and data science.

Skills labs on the impact of data visualisation, storytelling and managerial communication are also part of practical learning. The candidates applying must hold at least two years of employment experience by April 30, 2026.

The two-year PGDM course is offered at both campuses and is designed for fresh graduates and young professionals. It provides intensive learning along with mentoring from experienced faculty to build a strong career foundation. The program includes internships and courses conducted with leading recruiters to give students practical business exposure. To be eligible, candidates must have less than 36 months of work experience as of May 30, 2026.
