What Makes the CAT 2024 Topper List Important?

The topper list is published to mark the success of students who had put in their best efforts during their preparations. It also acts as an encouragement and reference for future candidates who seek to score well in this competitive MBA entrance examination.

CAT 2024 Toppers by Percentile, Stream & State

In CAT 2024 a total of 14 people achieved a perfect 100 percentile. Thirteen of them were men and one was a woman. There was only one non-engineer among them and 13 out of 14 were engineers. Out of all the states, Maharashtra had the highest score with five candidates followed by Telangana with two and AP, Delhi, Haryana, Kerala, MP, Odisha and UP with one.

At 99.99 percentile level, there were 29 candidates, 27 males and 2 females. Again most of them were engineers (28) and only one of them was not an engineer.  Maharashtra (5), Karnataka (4), Haryana and Rajasthan (3 each), Delhi and Gujarat (2 each) and one each from Assam, Chandigarh, Kerala, MP, Odisha, Punjab, TN, Telangana, Uttarakhand and WB were among the candidates in this percentile.

For the 99.98 percentile, 30 candidates attained this score, out of which 29 were males and 1 was female. Within this set there were 22 engineers and 8 non-engineers. These candidates were distributed in numerous states such as  West Bengal had the maximum number with 4 candidates followed by Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, MP, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Telangana with 3 candidates per state. Uttar Pradesh contributed 2 candidates to this set.

Top Scorers in CAT 2024 and Their Percentile Scores

The CAT 2024 score has highlighted the outstanding performances of some of the candidates who excelled in the exam to a large extent.  Out of the top scorers most of them surpassed the 99th percentile mark reflecting their honesty and extensive preparation. From 100% of three students to 99.99% of Sanjiv Kumar and Aryan Ray to many others with top scores this list acknowledges the efforts of CAT 2024 toppers who have set an inspiring benchmark for future aspirants.  

Top Scorers in CAT 2023 and Their Percentile Scores

Some candidates scored extremely well in the CAT 2023 test achieving high percentile marks. Some of the highest scorers include Kartik Bhageria at 99.99 percentile, Kishan Agrawal and Riddhi Dugar with 99.91 percentile each and Rounak Tikmani at 99.90 percentile. Some of the other high-scoring names include Vishesh Jain (99.69 %ile), Simran Gupta (99.45 %ile) and Suvam Debnath (99.52 %ile). These top performers have established good standards for prospects of CAT demonstrating the amount of preparation and hard work that it takes to make it to the top percentiles.
