BITSoM Opens Admissions for MBA Class of 2026–28
The program offers a mix of global expertise and an agile curriculum. Faculty members come from top international business schools such as Wharton, NYU Stern, Kellogg, Chicago Booth, University of Texas at Austin, USC Marshall, Johns Hopkins and SMU Singapore. The curriculum has recently been updated with a range of courses on applying AI to business. Alongside core MBA subjects BITSoM also focuses on soft skills and leadership through a parallel track called Winning at the Workplace.
According to Dean and Professor of Operations Dr. Saravanan Kesavan the demand for professionals who can use AI and related technologies to create business value is growing rapidly. He outlined how BITSoM enhanced curriculum along with its distinguished international faculty makes it stand out as one of the top destinations for future managers to train for a world that is dominated by AI. He went on to say that the higher intake will enable more students to harness an environment that fosters innovation, empathy and resilience.
Admission Process
The admission process evaluates candidates based on standardised test scores (CAT, GMAT or GRE – any one is required), academic record, extracurricular achievements, leadership potential, and communication skills. In terms of gender, educational backgrounds, professional experience and hobbies BITSoM seeks to create a diverse class.
Work experience is not mandatory. The program welcomes fresh graduates as well as experienced professionals. The applicants should possess a recognised undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any field from an approved Indian or foreign institute or be studying for their final year.
